Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 3-4 cloves garlic (mined)
- 1 small head green cabbage (chopped)
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups beef bone broth
- 1 15oz can tomato sauce
- 1 14.5oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes (undrained, regular will work as well)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp real maple syrup
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp italian seasoning
- ½ tsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

- Sauté aromaticsAdd diced onion and cook 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Build the skilletStir in chopped cabbage, uncooked rice, broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, maple syrup and seasonings.
- SimmerBring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender and cabbage is soft.
