Homemade Ranch Seasoning

A simple homemade ranch seasoning blend made with dried herbs and pantry spices. This larger batch fills a mason jar so you always have ranch seasoning on hand for dressings, dips, roasted potatoes, and recipes like Mississippi pot roast.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp dried dill
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp dried chives
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a pint-size mason jar or mixing bowl.
  • Stir or shake until evenly mixed.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry pantry.

Notes

  • 3 tablespoons of seasoning equals 1 ranch seasoning packet.
  • Use this mix for homemade ranch dressing, dips, roasted potatoes, or slow cooker recipes like Mississippi pot roast.
